How I use my Combat Experience in writing my Science Fiction Books

I use my combat experiences and my passion for SCI-FI in writing my books for one reason. My combat experiences are a real and very personal experience that only a a few have. My passion for sci-fi allows me the venue to relate those real experiences while keeping them in the realm of fiction.

I don’t want to go into the blood and guts of combat in my science fiction books because in doing so that would take me back to a very dark and evil place. I do not want to go there. In my sci-fi books I write about warrior codes, how the survivors deal with the death of a comrade in arms, their individual fears, the internal black box and how their personal lives can flourish with that black box tucked deep inside. In my books it is referred to as “stinkin thinkin”. I got that term from my father who first used the term when I got back from Vietnam. When he would find me in a dark place, he would say, “OK son, time to stop that stinkin thinkin and focus on the present. You have too many people that love you to go there.” That is when I created my black box.

My books are a place where I can shed more light into my dark places and hopefully entertain you with my science fiction books. All the things that I have written above are in all of my books to include egos. Can’t be a helicopter pilot without an ego.

I would invite you all to check out my science fiction books series A Saga of Dogs of War-A Story of Mercenaries on Amazon. My titles are: Cry Havoc, The GRiM Clan, and The Vendetta Against Vendetta. I have links to Amazon for all my books published in the series on this site for your convenience . Please buy my series and help an old man feel better about himself. Thank you all for your support.

P.S. Keep an eye on the countdown calendar for my free eBook event only 10 days away on Amazon and Discount Book Man. This event is for my third book in the series The Vendeta Against Vendetta.

Did you develop this amazing site yourself? Please reply back
as I’m hoping to create my own personal website

  3. Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble
with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a few months of hard work due to no
back up. Do you have any solutions to protect against hackers?
